Smithville Lake Festival has grown into one of Smithville’s favorite community traditions, bringing people together downtown every Father’s Day weekend for live music, local vendors, food trucks, carnival rides, pageants, a parade, car show, family activities, and more.

The festival’s roots reach back through decades of community celebration connected to Smithville and Smithville Lake. Today, the event is planned and organized by the Smithville Festival Committee, a local nonprofit supported by volunteers, sponsors, local businesses, and community partners. Every year, the festival continues to grow while staying focused on the same purpose: celebrating Smithville, supporting the community, and creating a weekend families can look forward to year after year.
